Works Limited produced its first drug as long ago as 1936.
Since then its activities are aligned to the basic values
of manufacturing drugs of highest quality.
The Drugs and Pharmaceuticals Division of
EIPW Ltd. at Sarsuna is positioned at the southern precincts
of Kolkata (formerly known as Calcutta ) over a wide sprawling
greenery. The factory, spread over separate manufacturing
blocks, is equipped with most modern state-of-the-art equipment
and machinery.

One of the bulk drug units of EIPW Ltd. is
located in a serene environment at the southern outskirts
of Kolkata. In its modern upgraded plant a dedicated team
produces bulk drugs for captive consumption.
The main synthetic Drugs plant is situated
at Durgapur, (170 Kms from Kolkata ) amidst a picturesque
eco-friendly surrounding .This factory has modern reactors
and is equipped to carry on different unit processes and operations
on a large scale under the supervision of engineers, chemists
and highly trained workmen. It has a highly efficient effluent-treatment
plant with solid waste disposal system.

in-process control, release of the finished product to the
market and monitoring the condition of the released products

The Quality Control department is provided
with ultra modern and sophisticated analytical instruments,
adequate laboratory facilities and a team of high profile
