Actions Hepnar
facilitates regeneration of hepatocytes and prevents hepatic
degeneration. It maintains the hepatic architecture by improving
cellular protein synthesis. Piper extract/Piperine present
in Hepnarsignificantly improves hepatic glutathione reserves,
which is an established detoxifying factor, and also inhibits
rise of serum GPT & AP levels. Hepnar
improves lipotropic effects which favour unique handling and
assimilation of lipids by hepatic tissues. It also reduces
intracellular oedema and thereby minimises intrahepatic cholestasis. Hepnar
provides therapeutic efficacy when used in nausea & irritable
bowel syndrome. It improves appetite and increases metabolic
activities which induce anabolism during acute phase of hepatic
ailments.
Indications Chronic
dyspepsia, anorexia and indigestion of hepatic as well as
non-hepatic origin; as hepatoprotective adjuvant during prolonged
hepatotoxic medications such as antitubercular drugs, oral
contraceptives, psychotropic drugs, cancer chemotherapy etc;
nutritional liver diseases including acute or chronic alcoholism;
acute phase of and during convalescence from viral hepatitis
of both ÔAÕ & ÔBÕ varieties; irritable bowel syndrome.
