Actions
Cortola-m exerts an antibacterial effect against a wide range
of Gram-positive and Gram-negative microorganisms by restricting,
through competitive antagonism with
para-aminobenzoic acid, the synthesis of folic acid required
by bacteria for growth. Hydrocortisone in Cortola-m
also provides prompt relief from pain & photophobia and
prevents scarring.
